Liz Earle Sheer Skin Tint in Bare 01 [Review+Swatches]

I was really excited to try out the Liz Earle Sheer Skin Tint when I first received this product. This is the first product that Liz Earle has launched in their Make up line alongside their skincare range of Naturally Active Ingredients.

What Liz Earle says about it:

The perfect way to enhance your skin. Our rich and creamy, yet lightweight formula leaves all skin types looking naturally dewy, even and radiant. With mineral UV SPF15, it’s enriched with our own blend of natural source vitamin E, borage and avocado, specially selected to work in harmony with our skincare range.
Apply a little Sheer Skin Tint onto forehead, nose, cheeks and chin, then blend with fingertips over your face.
Suitable for all skin types

Comes in Bare 01, Beige 02, Beach 03

Packaging:
A sleek black squeezy tube, with a twist open top, the nozzle is initially sealed. Small and compact, can easily fit inside your makeup pouch.

Review and Swatches:

I'm in love with this product! For me this works as a light coverage foundation as well as a tinted moisturizer, the formula is like that of a liquid foundation, creamy and easily blending yet not thick, I was a little confused as to which shade to go for, since I thought Bare 01 would be too light for me but luckily it's my exact shade and blends seamlessly into my skin. It gives a glow-y and dew-y kind of finish to my skin which is a big plus because my skin is normal-dry and i'm always on the hunt for tinted moisturizers for this very reason else I just apply some moisturizer before dabbing on some foundation.
The coverage is sheer of course as the name implies, it does not cover red acne marks, severe blemishes or dark circles. I apply my concealer first over my dark circles and over an occasional blemish or two and then apply the tint. For a little more coverage I use a makeup powder on top which sets everything in place. For people with oily and combination skins, it might appear a bit shiny on the face but then again it can be offset with a dab of makeup powder.
The lightweight texture, sheer coverage plus the SPF 15 makes it a great product for day time usage.

  5. I love how you've described this product, you'd have me sold even without the photos. It seems so blend so well, not a trace of it is visible, my kind of tint.
