Golden Rose Liquid Concealor in 03 [Review+ Swatches]

Golden Rose Liquid Concealor I believe has been a great find of mine! I'm one of those people who suffer from the agonies of dark circles which are hereditary and so nothing much can be done except finding ways to camouflage them. I feel liquid concealors work best for under-eye bluish circles especially those which are orange or peach-toned as they combat the blueness round the eye!

Golden Rose Claims:
Our Golden Rose liquid concelear comes with a brush tip and blends right into the skin. Covers under eye imperfections and brightens the skin.
5 Shades:

01 ivory
02 beige
03 dark beige
04 honey
05 rosewood

I picked up 03 because it was the darkest most orange-y color among all

Packaging:

A long plastic tube with a twisting bottom, as you twist the product comes out from the middle of the brush applicator. The lid and area around the applicator gets messy real quick.

There are instructions on the pack which specifically states that this product is for around the eyes.

Review and Swatches:
The product has a nice consistency which is quite suitable for application around the eye. I dot it all around the eye and blend it with my ring finger ofcourse you can use a concealor brush too. I set it with a pressed powder[Rimmel Stay Matte in 001] afterwards to balance out the orange color and to help it match the rest of my face. I find its result on my dark circles to be almost the same as with my Rimmel Match Perfection Concealor [my best concealor until this one] and this stays put for a good 4-5 hours on me.
The only downside being that the amount of product is too little, it's been 6-7 months and i'm running out of it and I use it occasionally, in case you put it on everyday you might need a fresh one a lot sooner.
you can see I'm almost running out of the product
You can make out how dark the color is against my skin tone in the swatches below
on the right is the blended swatch
Below is the bare eye picture and another with the concealor applied and set with pressed powder in a color that matches my skin tone. [I have a wee bit on my eyelash as well lol now I wonder how that happened]:p

L-R without concealor, with concealor and set with pressed powder
Price and Availability:
This was for PKR 490 when I bought it last year in my haul though I've heard the price has risen now. This can easily be found in all stores nationwide.
On their website Golden Rose USA this is on sale for $4.99 [original price $6.99]

Rating:
4/5

Verdict:
A good product which serves its purpose well, I might repurchase it if I didn't find a better alternative in the market.

Tell me what do you think girls?
Love

  4. I am familiar with those evil circles, lol. And I'm always looking out for a new and good concealer. I am really amazed by the difference in the two pics, the product seems like it does the job very well. Will have to locate it near me

  6. I find that owning a concealer is a must! I'm currently using a MAC, but I've yet to try a liquid concealer. This seems like it works pretty good! :D
