NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Iced Mocha 617 [Review and a Look]

Convenient, creamy and pigmented NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils are much hyped about. I'm reviewing no 617 named Iced Mocha today.

NYX Claims:
A radiant eye liner that also doubles as an eye shadow. Made with a blend of mineral oil and powder, our creamy Jumbo Eye Pencils glide on effortlessly—no pulling, tugging or fading—and come in a rainbow of vivid hues. Some call her chubby. We say voluptuous. Available in 32 shades.

White thick pencils with a transparent plastic cap that cracked after swatching only.

Review and Swatches:
NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils are quite versatile and can be used as eyeliners, eyeshadows as well as eyeshadow bases. They come in a huge selection of 32 shades with shimmery and matte finishes. Have a creamy consistency and super pigmentation, the color can be applied directly to the eye and you can easily blend it with your fingertips because of the smooth and creamy texture.

Iced Mocha is a gorgeous taupy shade, more cool toned then warm, a blend of bronze, gold and silver all together. It has great pigmentation and leaves behind a glossy sheen that looks like you've applied a cream eyeshadow.

It can be worn as an eyeshadow, with a nice bronzy pearlescent finish it looks great when used in the inner corner of the eyes or on the lower water line [it smudges easily though, hence saying power on the water line didn't impress me at all]. You can also smear some all over the lid, some black eyeliner and mascara, and pair it with a peachy lipgloss to complete a quick and beautiful look. Works wonderfully for a smokey eye too!
However reviews from people with oily eyelids indicate that it creases and may smear, definitely needs a primer underneath, fortunately I have no such problems being blessed with dry skin.

It works well as a base for neutral powder eyeshadows or a taupe eyeshade because it makes the colors pop more and the eyeshadow lasts longer on.

The only issue is finding the correct sized sharpener for these pencils, the NYX sharpener fits the best ofcourse, I use a random one I got with a Makeup brush set I purchased a while back.
The second con is a bad quality cap that cracks easily.
