Whenever I go grocery shopping I have the tendency to wander over to the Hair products section and go through everthing displayed, crazy right!? But as my son is 4+ months now mashAllah it isn't so crazy anymore because apart from his delightful cooing and smiling the most dreaded post-pregnancy hairfall has started for me.
Even though there is no remedy that can stop this hairfall it can be managed with some extra care especially if you have long locks which I am sporting these days! So I have three conditioners that have been battling it out for me, the Herbel Essences Long-Term relationship Conditioner, Loreal Elvive Color Protect and Sunsilk Anti-Dandruff Solution Nourishing Conditioner. Let's go through them one by one!
Herbel Essences Long-Term relationship Conditioner:340ml
My hair seems to have a love affair with the Herbel Essences Conditioners, I won't vouch for the shampoos but their conditioners seem to work for me like no other. Previously I reviewed the Herbel Essences Color-Me-Happy conditioner here and next I got myself the Long-Term Reationship conditioner which is for long hair and my hair is almost going past my waist now. I love the super creamy consistency of these, the fresh scent which makes you think of a fruit garden. I apply lavish amounts of it because it works like magic on my hair; which is color treated and hence dry so requires some extra TLC. My hair feels silky when I use this and doesn't weigh it down no matter how much I apply. Give Rapunzel a run for her money.. :)
Loreal Elvive Color Protect Conditioner:200ml
This is so disappointing, for one thing it doesn't live upto it's name of protecting the color and secondly doesn't do much in the de-tangling department either. It makes my hair soft no doubt, the least that a conditioner is supposed to do and imparts a nice smell, but it stops there. The amount of conditioner you get is also less than my beloved HE ones which house 340 ml of product in that huge bottle and this has only 200ml.
Sunsilk Anti-Dandruff Solution Nourishing Conditioner: 180mlThis has a nice smell first of all, it works well if the hair is NOT very rough and dry. It claims to remove and keep the dandruff away but I don't see much difference to be honest. This product is also thick and creamy, makes my hair go soft and manageable but the softness is not long-lasting. I use this when I'm in a hurry and have to wash and condition my hair quick and when there's not enough time for any long lingering treatments. Repurchase: NO!
Which conditioners are you girls using?
