Essence Kajal Pencil and Lipliner [Review]

If you are looking for good quality makeup pencils with an affordable price tag, Essence pencils can be your product of choice!

I wanted a nude lip pencil so when I went to look at some crockery at a departmental store, I randomly went to the Essence stand and asked the SA for a nude lip pencil. I got two; a Kajal Pencil as I keep trying out different kajal pencils every now and then and a lip pencil. Both the pencils have matte silver caps.

My Thoughts:
These pencils are smooth and pigmented with a good value for money. Soft and Creamy formula that glides easily when applied.
Kajal Pencil: The kajal pencil is in the shade "black", it's nicely pigmented and creamy smooth in texture. Glides easily on the lids when applied. No need to press hard. The color payoff is good, I like the intense black color of it, see the swatch picture below. Staying power is about 3-4 hours on me without primer but ladies with oily-lids may experience some problems regarding that. It smears yes! and is not waterproof so if you have this problem of your eyeliner getting smudge-y then probably it would be best if you go for other waterproof options.
Lipliner: The lip liner is the shade "in the nude" and it's a pretty nude brown with pink undertones. The texture is very creamy and smooth, in extremely hot summers it may get too soft otherwise it applies easily, the lasting power is about 3-4 hours. Can be sharpened easily with a standard sharpner.
As the texture is soft, the tip might get broken if pressed too hard or in hot weather.
