Rouge Bunny Rouge Color Burst Lipsticks [Review]

We had a fantabulous Beauty Bloggers Meetup in Karachi last year if you remember ladies which I shared with you here sponsored by Rouge Bunny Rouge, I got a Cheeks in Bloom blush wand which I have reviewed for you here and two Color Burst Lipsticks that I'm reviewing today. This has been a long overdue post but I'm happy that I finally got around to posting it for you girls!

Rouge Bunny Rouge Claims:
The easy glide, hydrating formula ensures superb comfort and softness. Enriched with Vitamin E, to nourish and protect from dryness and ageing. With three separate formulas, depending on the texture, coverage and finish, all are suffused with botanical extracts such as Orchid Flower extract, Meadowfoam, Manoi Butter or Inca Inchi oil

I received two colors 1.Inscribed in Sheets 2.Scrumptiously Devious. Both are beautiful everyday wear colors. The packaging is uber cute, sleek black with white leaves embossed on the bottom half of the lipstick. The cap has the RBR logo embossed on it at the top.

My Thoughts:
The texture of these lipsticks is smooth and creamy, they glide on the lips easily and you get a nice swatch of color on the first swipe especially the matte colors hence good coverage too. The formula is light-weight and hydrating, prepping the lips is not required with these but doing so is good nevertheless.
They have a slight scent which some of you might not like but it tends to vanish after application. Staying power is 2-3 hours on me without eating or drinking, and  fades out evenly without settling into lines.
Scrumptiously Devious is a frosty light pale pink shade, it's frost is more towards gold and contains tiny specs of gold glitter too but they do not feel gritty or chunky at all. You wouldn’t even feel as if you have anything glittery on your lips it's very fine and is blended well with the lipstick. However the glitter specs tend to stay behind even after I remove the lipstick which is one thing I don't like. In the lip swatch below the color has not translated accurately for some reason, it's more beautiful in person than on camera. On a single swipe it's quite sheer and the color looks almost like my natural lip color, I have applied 3 coats in the picture to get that result.
Inscribed in Sheets is a slightly dark nude brown color without any glitter or shimmer. A very suitable nude brown for Asian skins and looks beautiful when on. Quite pigmented even on the first swipe. I'd been neglecting this color for a long time until I found out one day how awesome it looked with dramatic eyes!

  5. Love how naturally pretty these shades appear, I think you don't always need a bold colour to make an impact, I prefer softer shades like this.

  7. I love these lipsticks--I have Dissolved in Dreams--a strawberry pink and Fluttering Sighs--the most beautiful, wearable pink.
