My Evening MakeUp Essentials!

I don't wear makeup frequently and that may sound strange coming from a Beauty Blogger but it's true. Occassionally whenever I go for a night-out with friends/family, there are a few products I'd use for the basics, then depending upon the occasion I amp it up and bring in the big guns or tone it down accordingly!

The basic items are [and the good thing is all of them cost under PKR 1200] :

1. Color Studio Pro Luminous foundation:
It's a sheer coverage liquid foundation with gives a glowy look to my face which is perfect for the night Review coming soon! If I want more coverage I'd go for Rimmel Lasting Finish 25 Hour Foundation [Read review here]

2. Sleek Contour Kit in Medium [Read review here]:
I use this to contour my cheekbones for night functions and though I don't use the highlighter shade in this I do dab some on when I'm not carrying any other with me. I use the contour shade for enhancing my eyelid crease also!

3. ELF Blending brush: During the day I can get away with a wash of a single color on the eyelid but for the evening I love to add a dark color to my crease, this blending brush gets the job done marvellously!! The dark shade keeps changing, I love the contour shade of the Sleek Contour Kit or any dark brown or gray can make the eyes look stunning and the look more formal. You can see the eye look here.

4. Rimmel Soft Kohl pencil: I'd line my upper lid with this Rimmel kohl pencil because eyeliner is a must for me, or tight line; sometimes also use it as a brow filler and again sometimes in the waterline but that seldom happens because I hate smudging and smearing and this tends to smudge terribly in the waterline. If I want a more intense black or the occasion is quite formal then I'd go for a gel eyeliner like my favorite one by Essence.

5. Maybelline Falsies Mascara [Read review here]: Instantly amps up my barely there lashes, has to be applied in quick successive strokes for a true-to-name Falsies effect.

6. Revlon Lip Butter in Peach Parfait [Read review here]: More often than not I wear a nude lip be it morning or evening, this shade of the lip butter is a peachy nude which adds a mermerising gloss to my lips and no need for nay balms either. See review for lip swatches! For weddings or parties I opt for brighter shades in my stack!

7. Accessorize Bronzing Block Shade 3 [Read review here]: If you've been following my blog you know that I've been raving on and on about this one, it's one of my favorite blushes, it's a coral pink and matte, perfect for the day; when I wear it at night I pair it up with a separate highlighter like the Bourjois illuminating powder [Read review here] or L'Oreal color appeal in white.
