My Thoughts:
The packaging is a beige colored tube with a flip open top which is convenient to use. Comes in two shades Medium and Light as well as two packagings one for normal/dry skins and the other for oily-combination skins. The normal/dry packaging is shorter and stout than the oily/combination one which is thin and long-ish.

The texture is thick, very much like a foundation, consistency and color wise. It has the typical 'Garnier' smell which is kind of floral.

The shade I got is Light and the first time I put it on, it looked like I had a terrible orange tan on. It's got pink undertones as well and appears a bit on the darker side on me which is a big disappointment as I really liked this BB Cream coverage wise but it's awful that it comes in ONLY two shades which does not have one for me!

When I applied it, it evened out my skin nicely and gave good coverage, I only reached out for my concealor for the darker marks. It didn't make my pores prominent and no break-outs either.
My skin appeared shiny but not oily, nevertheless I used a pressed powder to matte out the shine just a little bit, hoping that it would help to lighten the shade but my skin started looking dull as a result, so I'd suggest avoiding the pressed/loose powder unless you're an oily/combination skinned person.

Illuminates?
Yes! It imparts a glow to the skin and makes it look healthy and youthful.

Covers?
Yes to some extent, but for darker blemishes or dark circles etc you'll have to use a concealor.

Hydrates?
Yes for my normal skin it does in this weather but in winters and for very dry skins, a moisturizer may be required underneath.

Evens tone?
Yes! It evens out the skin tone and hides the minor imperfections beautifully.

Protects?
Since it claims to have SPF 15, it might do that too, it's printed on the pack but I can't spot it written anywhere on the tube, I think it should've been!!

Verdict:
It's a good product to try, given the affordable price tag too but only if you can find your shade between the two for yourself!!

Price and Availability:
Priced at PKR 399, it's available at all the supermarkets nationwide.

Have you tried the Garnier BB Cream? xx

  2. I have the thin one, and I was confused why they have two packagings. Then I saw, the thick one is 50 ml and thin-long one is 40 ml.
P.S. I love this BB cream. Great review. xx

  4. Hi dear, this is one product I actually have tried and continue to use. i love the light coverage of this BB cream and the glow it provides to skin. The only set back is that it comes in three shades here...there isn't anything in between light and medium. I hope they will add this.

  6. I didnt know that there were 2 different formulas, I have the thin one and it smells heavyily of alcohol so it dries really matte. The Oil/combination in light is the perfect shade for medium complexsions.
