Color Studio Pro Luminous Foundation in Ivory [Review]

Finally sharing my thoughts on my current favorite foundation. At first when I got this foundation I was a little skeptical, and hardly ever used it but with time I developed a liking for it, keep reading to find out why :)

Color Studio Professional Claims:
Perfect for the humid summer weather, this liquid foundation is ideal for protecting your skin from harmful sun-rays and photo-aging. The Paraben Free, FDA approved formula is gentle enough to use daily as an effective treatment to prevent fine line and wrinkles.
The formula is a liquid consistency that applies easily on the skin with the use of your fingers. The light to medium coverage provides UVA and UVB to protect from ultraviolet sun rays. UVA and UVB both penetrate the skin deeply to reduce skin wrinkling and other aspects of photoaging. Using SPF 15 block 93% of UVB rays which causes negative side to the skin.

My Thoughts:
I like the squeezy tube packaging of this, easy to manuever BUT if not placed upright, it leaks and the nozzle gets messy when you open it the next time, bottomline: not fit for travelling! I wish Color Studio Professional does something about this issue or better yet change the packaging!
There are four shades in the range, I'm the shade Ivory, which is the lightest shade. The consistency of Pro Luminous foundation is thin and runny, which is probably one of the reasons of the product spillage I mentioned above.
Blends really well, I dot it all over my face and then using my Nanshy angled flat buffer brush spread it out evenly. I've tried using my fingers for application and it blends out nicely, so no issues there. The coverage is light to medium, doesn't cover up blemishes or marks though so a concealor is a must, when applied it adds a luminosity to my face, it can be regarded as slightly moisturizing, sets to a semi-matte finish, kinda dewy which I like in a foundation so another point scored.
It has a scent, I'm ok with it because it isn't very bothersome but some people might not like it, it vanishes after a while anyways.
I have normal to dry skin so this suits me admirably and the staying time is well over 5-6 hours on me sans a primer however it can be further improved with one and by using a setting powder on top, especially if you have oily/combination skin.
Contains SPF which means UVA and UVB protection and it's paraben-free, what more can one want?:) [ these days i'm on a hunt for paraben and sulphate free products, to check up on their harmful effects search in Wiki]

Overall I love this foundation, perhaps the most among all the Color Studio Professional foundations I've tried so far! It's my current favorite <3
