My Thoughts:
The packaging is sleek black cardboard with magnetic closure, inside are 48 eyeshadows with varying textures of matte, frost and shimmery. 2 highlighters, 4 blushes and a mirror.

I'll start with the eyeshadows first, the color aray is spectacular, I was blown away by the brightly gorgeous colors. You'll find shades of browns, nudes, about 5 shades of gray (not 50!! :P) blacks, golds, greens, oranges, rosegold, blues and whites. The frosty shades and the shimmery ones have amazing color payoff, they get blended well and have minimum fall out. Among the matte ones some are less pigmented and a bit difficult to work with as they have a lot of fall out like shades 04, 10, 22, 23, 36, 39, 40, 45 whereas some of the matte shades have good pigmentation like 06, 07, 11, 13, 17, 19. My personal favorite shades have to be 05, 06, 07, 11, 17, 47, 40 is a really pretty shade though I wish it was more pigmented.

On the right hand side of the palette there is a mirror which frankly I haven't used simply because while applying makeup I like to keep both my hands free and for that I use my dresser's mirror. Anyways below the mirror are the two highlighters, 01 is a soft nude brown with slight gold shimmer, I like to think of it as a bronzer, except that it's not matte ofcourse. 02 is a subtle peachy pink with shimmer, fairly translucent and the skin peeks through making it a good highlighter. Blush 01 is a bright coral color with very tiny bits of shimmer, blush 02 is bubblegum pink and it's completely matte, blush 03 is a bright pink color and matte texture and blush 04 is again the same blush 02! haha unfortunately for me somehow I got a faulty palette, where actually blush 04 is supposed to be a plum/berry color blush, mine is the same old bubblegum pink repeated, boo!

So conclusively this palette is handy and travel-friendly, gives you a wide range of eyeshadows to choose from for almost every look that you'd want to create, has blushes and highlighters and a mirror, so it's a complete set, if Luscious improves the pigmentation of some matte shadows and their textures then this palette is totally worth the hefty price tag!

I did a few looks using this, you can find them here and here :) x

  2. Looks beautiful, I wish the pigmentation was a bit better though.

    1. it's not that bad either, imo if you use a primer underneath, the shades can perform really well! :)
