ESSENCE VINTAGE DISTRICT IT'S POPUL-ART BLUSH [Review]

I'm so into pretty packagings and designs of makeup products that it's hardly a surprise that I got this too. Infact I included it in my secret swap wishlist and my dear swapper sent it for me! :) Essence always comes up with brilliant products which are uber cheap and effective at the same time.

This blush is part of the Essence Spring 2013 Vintage District Collection pictured below:

My Thoughts:
The blush looks very pretty at first glance, it has in fact the most beautiful design I've ever seen on a blush. The packaging has a transparent lid which makes it easy to see the exquisite design of the blush inside.
The blush contains two colors, a peachy base color and a rosy pink in the form of a flower with gold overspray on top. As it's only an overspray, it comes off after a few uses. The base color is quite pale and chalky at the same time making it a chore to pick up the product on a brush. It takes a couple of swirls for the color to show up on my face, when I add a bit of the rosy pink to it, a pretty coral shows up and along with the overspray it makes an ideal recipe for summery glowy cheeks. The overspray has intense shimmer in it, and I automatically stay away from it.  Apart from this, the blush is completely matte.
Staying time isn't very impressive, a mere 2-3 hours, I had very slight traces of it on my cheekbones when I returned home.
But on the whole the pale peachy-pink color is a nice addition to my blush stack and if you're going for a nude makeup look the matte shades in this blush are ideal for that.

Price and Availability:
Priced at pkr 450, all the supermarkets stocking Essence had this in stock and so did just4girls.pk a couple of weeks back but since it's limited edition and really pretty you need to hurry to grab yourself one! :)

Have you tried the limited edition blushes by Essence!?
