THEBALM MARYLOU MANIZER LUMINIZER [Review]

Forever on a hunt for the 100 watt complexion I couldn't resist adding the Mary-Lou Manizer to my collection when the black friday sales began last year. I've been using it a lot and I think it's finally time for a review.

TheBalm Claims:
Meet Mary-Lou Manizer, a seemingly innocent honey-hued luminizer that catches everybody’s eye. This highlighter, shadow and shimmer diffuses light so your skin looks softer and younger while adding a subtle glow.

My Thoughts:
With a quirky and absolutely adorable packaging Mary-Lou is a pretty blonde pouting in a line up, with charges of being too pretty and too popular!
It's claimed to be an Oil Free and Paraben Free formula. From the finger swatch you can tell how incredibly pigmented it is. It comes in a pressed powder form with absolutely no glitter particles which is what I love about this. The texture is finely milled, non-gritty and smooth, almost like a cream product.
The shade is a pale metallic champagne, more yellow-y champagne. I use a stipple brush to apply this because it's easy to go over board with this one. For the price you get a LOT of product and because you need just a tiny bit for a nice glow, a little would go a long way. The staying power is crazy good, my luminous face lasts upto a good 7-8 hours when I use this.
I use it in the inner corners of the eyes and sometimes as an eyeshadow as well just because the shade is so pale and really lights up the eyes. For those of you who like to stay away from the horrors of a glittery face this is the baby to use. It does emphasize the pores around my nose a bit so the large-pored and oily-skinned girls would have to be a tad careful with it's application.
Having tried this I want to go for something warmer and more true champagne now, but don't get me wrong I love this thing, it's the best for lighting up your face like no other, but I guess the quest for my best highlighter continues, thinking of..I got to share my highlighter collection with you guys soon! :)
